My software version is 3.16.589, and I have an annual subscription. Nothing changed after i select Simplified Chinese in settings. And it would be nice if you can add an “Apply” button in the settings, otherwise it may be confusing because I don’t know whether my changes have been applied.
After setting log level to Verbose please send us your log file NetDrive3_bdrive.log
.
After setting the log level to VERBOSE, please reproduce the problem and send us the debug log file :
There is no login related credential information in the log files.
Sorry for the inconvenience it may caused.

Following version includes fixes for changing language.
Sorry for the inconvenience it caused.
I installed version 3.17.721, but the issue remains. Also, i look into the “languages” folder ,the language file is 0KB, i opened it with notebook and it was empty. I didn’t found the log file called “NetDrive3_bdrive.log”, but I found lines that match your description in another log file which i uploaded below. I reproduced the problem and i tried to select a language other than Chinese, it didn’t take effect either. Also, Does the client download language files from your server when it changes the language? If so, this error may be due to the connection and delay problems that often occur when Chinese Mainland visits overseas websites
NetDrive3_98553.log (16.4 KB)
If the network is the problem I will send you the language files and let you know where to put those file on your local disk.
That’s appreciated. Tell me what to do
You can download language files here:
And put the language files under C:\ProgramData\NetDrive3\languages
netdrive_zh_CN.qm.zip (8.7 KB)
I put the language file in the directory you said, and the software will still try to download the language file from the server when switching languages and overwrite the correct file I put in
Sorry I forgot to include registry settings.
Using regedit.exe you need to set downloaded language versions.
Registry location: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Bdrive Inc\NetDrive3\settings
Please refert to following image for language versions:
Thank you so much,I can now switch to Chinese normally.
