Unable to mount a connection

Hi

Have recently not been able to connect to my Synology NAS and when I try to connect in Netdrive I get a pop up ‘Server: Mount Error’
In config > connect, Netdrive appears to connect ok and when I click on browse, I can see the folder structure. IKts just when I click connect to add it as a mounted drive that the problem starts.

We observed attempts to mount ‘Server(1) Drive Item’ from the screenshot and ‘nd3svc.log’, but we will need the associated ‘child service’ log file for a thorough analysis. If you could please attach the ‘nd3svc_Server(1).log’ file, it would greatly aid in diagnosing the issue.

Apologies I left it out - have attached a zip with all the files in the log folder.

I have already tried uninstalling and re-installing and that didnt have any effect sadly

Dear jamie1,

I found a error in the file you attached. Some program like as anti-virus or anti-malware program could banned installing the filesystem of NetDrive.

It can be blocked by some programs like Antivirus or Anti-malware softwares. If you use these softwares please unblock or add exception.

If you are not using any antivirus software you can try re-install NetDrive filesystem driver.

  • Open Command Prompt as Administrator
  • Change directory to C:\Program Files (x86)\Bdrive\NetDrive3
  • syshelper.exe i cbfsinst.dll cbfs.cab NetDrive3 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bdrive\NetDrive3"
  • If syshelper.exe displays 0 the installation succeeded.
  • Otherwise, the installation failed.
