NetDrive shows swedish characters åäö as?

Hi everyone,

We are having some issues with NetDrive showing the swedish characters åäö as ? in the filenames which makes the files impossible to open.

Example: D:\Path\ToFolder\L?ne?kningJatack.xml
when it should be D:\Path\ToFolder\LöneökningJatack.xml

If we change the charset in NetDrive to UTF-8 no files are shown at all, only folders.
If we change the charset to Autodetect, the filenames shows with wrong characters.
If we change the charset to Local charset, the filenames shows with wrong characters.

The language for non-Unicode programs in the Windows OS is set to Swedish.

Anyone have any idea?

I think the file name you tried to open is not utf-8 encoded.

Could you change it to utf-8 encoded file name from server?

If your issue persists, attach debug log files to figure out what happened.
