Invalid Server Credentials/Login Information

Hi, I am trying to connect to a WebDAV server, and I am entering the correct server and user information, but I am getting error messages when trying to connect the drive. I am comparing the information with other devices that have working drives and reset my password through admin in Synology but still receive errors when the same drives work on other devices. I’ve tried to connect by two different ports as well and either receive “please check your username/password” or “please check server information again” messages.

Dear 5bcd-Support,

Thank you for your message, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

From your description, it appears that you are entering the correct WebDAV server and login information, yet the connection fails only on specific PCs using NetDrive. Since the same credentials work on other devices, the issue may be related to the environment or settings of the affected PC.

Possible causes include:

  • Firewall, antivirus, or proxy interference on the affected PC
  • Incorrect format or encryption settings in NetDrive
  • SSL certificate or port configuration issues on the WebDAV server

To help us diagnose the issue:

  1. Please set the log level to VERBOSE
  2. Reproduce the problem.
  3. Afterward, please follow the instructions in the following link to send us the debug log file:

We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. Once we receive the logs, we’ll work promptly to resolve your issue.

Also, let us know which version of NetDrive you are currently using, and we recommend installing the latest version from the link below:

Download NetDrive 3.18.1125

We’ll review your logs and get back to you as soon as possible.

Best regards,
NetDrive Support Team
