I am unable to connect NetDrive 3 to an FTP server with SSL\TLS.
I’ve already done telnet testing and port 990 is properly open.
I can also connect via FTP (I used WinSCP to test and got a connection).
The only issue is that in WinSCP, it uses TLS/SSL Implicit Encryption, and in NetDrive the option doesn’t appear (I suspect that NetDrive is using SSL/TLS Explicit Encryption and so it doesn’t connect).
Can you guide me?
I use NetDrive 3 in version 3.15.432.
Note: the server in question that I want to connect to the FTP has port 21 blocked for security reasons.
However, as I don’t have the option Explicit or Implicit, I suspect that by default it uses Explicit (because to connect to it, port 21 must also be released and as my firewall is blocked for security, so it gives a connection error) .
I restarted all Services to be able to reset logs and send new ones to you.
When restarting the services, connecting again, changing to VERBOSE and trying to redo the configuration where I had the SSL\TLS connection error, I was able to connect.
For some reason, restarting the NetDrive 3 program solved my problem.
