I cannot search on the mounted drive in macOS.

Released version does not support Spotlight search on mounted volumes.
Following beta version support Spotlight search. To support Spotlight search NetDrive need to mount remote volume as a local drive and it will cause many file operations when you browse the volume. In contrast when NetDrive mounts remote storage as a network volume macOS tries to reduce number of file operations (including Spotlight search) to reduce network traffic.
So please be noted that this version may incur more network packets and if you use remote storage on some thing like pay-as-you-go network it will cost you more.
