Problem with files on synology accessed via netdrive

I have the files saved on synology in the office. Occasionally when we save a file and try to access it from netdrive remortely it is either not visible or has a strange name and extension of .tmp

However if i go to the office then the file appears but i can only open in read only so have to resave. This only occurs when saving the files with netdrive. any ideas?

which protocol are you using http or https to connect your synology?

If you are using http, please set https.

Synology NAS has a problem with *.tmp file if the connection is http.
