Hello k-muehlemann,
Thank you for contacting us.
The issue you described is most likely caused by one of the following:
- SSL certificate issue on your Synology NAS
- The SSL certificate may be expired or the domain name on the certificate may not match your DDNS address (
https://dynamic_DNS2.org:5016). - Please open the address directly in your web browser and check whether you see any “SSL security warning.”
- Blocked IP address on Synology NAS
- If Synology’s “Auto Block” feature (Control Panel → Security → Protection → Auto Block) has blocked your PC’s IP address,
NetDrive will not be able to connect. - Please check the Auto Block list and remove your PC’s IP address if it appears there.
First, please install the latest version of NetDrive3 and try again:
Download the latest build (v3.18.1147) https://downloads.bdrive.com/netdrive/builds/4ca88f8b2c7e40cf9a1ecf6357406fa0/NetDrive3_Setup-3.18.1147.exe?utm_source=chatgpt.com
If the issue persists, please send us your log files for further analysis.
- Please set the log level to VERBOSE
- Reproduce the problem.
- Afterward, please follow the instructions in the following link to send us the debug log file:
We’ll review the logs carefully and get back to you with a detailed explanation.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.
Best regards,
NetDrive Support Team
