Issues with sync & empty folders

We have many files being synced from google drive but only folders are being backed up and the files inside the folders are missing. They are viewable in google drive, but not on the NAS that its being backed up to. Log file included.

Dear Alejandro,

We have reviewed the additional information and log files you provided. We created an identical environment to test the sync process between Google Drive and Synology WebDAV, and found that the sync completed without any issues.

Our test results are as follows:

1. Mounted Google Drive and set it as the “From” item in Sync.
2. Set Synology WebDAV as the “To” item in Sync.
3. Created files named _IMG_5893.jpg and ._IMG_5893.jpg and attempted to sync.
4. Sync completed without any problems.

While our tests did not reveal any issues, your log file shows a unique error: “GOOGLE::GoogleDrive::Read >> Failed writing received data to disk/application(23) treat as AERROR::READ_CANCELED.”

This error could be related to storage space issues, file system permissions, or network connectivity. We recommend trying the following steps:

1. Check Storage Space:

• Ensure that both Google Drive and your NAS have sufficient storage space.

2. Check File System Permissions:

• Verify that the file system permissions on your NAS allow proper read/write access.

3. Check Network Connectivity:

• Ensure your network connection is stable, and consider rebooting your router and NAS if necessary.

To better understand the reason behind the AERROR::READ_CANCELED error in your logs, please send us additional log files.
