When playing an online game, this message pops up, and the game shuts down.

Re-install didn’t work.

Dear ulttla,

Thank you for reaching out.

Could you please try running NetDrive alone to see if the “Code signing violation detected!” error still appears? If no error occurs with just NetDrive running, this could indicate a specific conflict between NetDrive and the game software.

Additionally, please try running the game with NetDrive completely closed to check if the error persists. If the issue doesn’t occur with NetDrive closed, it would further suggest a potential compatibility issue between NetDrive and the game.

Some online games have strict security protocols, and occasionally, background software may interfere with the game’s integrity checks.

Please let us know how it goes, and we’ll be ready to assist further!

Best regards.

Dear ulttla,

To fully close NetDrive before testing, please follow these steps:

  1. Stop NetDrive Services: Open the Services menu and stop NetDrive3 Agent (Product NetDrive3) and NetDrive3 Service (Product NetDrive3).
  2. End Tasks in Task Manager: Go to Task Manager, navigate to Details and end the following tasks: nd3svc.exe, ndagent.exe, and ndmnt.exe.

This will completely stop NetDrive from running in the background. Once stopped, try running your game to see if the “Code signing violation detected!” error still appears.

Thank you.

Hi tsjeong,

It works when I close NetDrive3. I hope this won’t affect any other services at some point.

Thanks,

Dear ulttla,

Thank you for providing the additional details. Since the issue does not occur when NetDrive3 is closed, it appears that the game’s security software may be in conflict with NetDrive3. The “Code signing violation detected!” error message suggests that the game’s security system might be mistakenly flagging our ndmnth.dll file due to code signing policies, even though there is no issue with the file itself.

To help resolve this conflict, please try the following:

  1. Add an Exception in the Game’s Security Software
Many online games use security software (like GameGuard, XIGNCODE, etc.) that can sometimes mistakenly flag legitimate files. You may be able to add ndmnth.dll, located at C:\ProgramData\NetDrive3\, as an exception in the game’s security settings. This step should prevent the security software from blocking or interfering with NetDrive3 files. The SHA256 hash for this file is provided in the error message, which may also be useful if you need to reach out to the game’s support team for additional assistance.

If this solution does not completely resolve the issue, or if there are any other concerns, please let us know. We’re here to assist and are open to working with the game developers if necessary to find a solution.

Thank you for your cooperation, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need further assistance.

Best regards,
tsjeong
