I am all of a sudden having a major problem with saving and transferring files to my drive.
If I open an existing file on the drive, it opens no problem. But if I make changes, save the file and then attempt to reopen it, I get an error message that the file is damaged or corrupt.
If I take a file from my computer, upload it to the drive, and then attempt to open the file, I get the same problem.
This just started about 7-10 days ago. It happens with all types of files (Word, PDF, Excel, text only).
To help us investigate the file corruption issue more accurately,
we kindly ask you to provide the following information.
NetDrive version used when the issue occurred
You can find this in Help → About NetDrive within the application.
Log files (important)
Since this issue appears to be related to the file save/write process,
we need more detailed logs.
Please follow the steps below if possible.
Change log level to Verbose
Launch NetDrive
Go to **Settings
Set the Log Level to “Verbose”
Apply the setting and reproduce the issue once again
Log file location
C:\ProgramData\NetDrive3\nd3log
Please compress the entire folder into a ZIP file and attach it.
If the ProgramData folder is not visible,
enable Show hidden items in File Explorer.
We’ve received similar reports from multiple users on specific NetDrive versions,
so having both the exact version information and verbose logs will greatly help our investigation.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.
We’ll get back to you as soon as we have more information.
