Copy data in the same drive

When copy a data in the same drive, will it download to local and upload again ? Or it would just copy using the cloud api and porcess in the cloud ?

NetDrive uses Cloud API to copy and move files in the cloud. Hope this helps.

So that means if I copy a file in the the same drive, it should be much faster than copy file from other drive, right?

Another question is what about copying a file that is still uploading in the background process of Netdrive? ( The file is still uploading in background and I just copy it to another path. The copy source is in the cloud drive, but it actuall does not complete uploading)

If the copy operation is in progress and you try to copy the file to another location in the same drive NetDrive will upload the file again because the file is not available in Cloud.
