Cannot logon anymore using google account

when I start windows netdrive 3 (3.19.27) starts and asks me for a login. Although the email adress automatically filled in is not correct (according to the website I use google login) I click on login with google. this redirects me to a google webpage which successfully finishes but netdrive does not log on and basically hangs (all buttons are greyed out and I can only click on the ‘links’ near the bottom of the window.

Hello,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

We tested Google login on Windows using the same NetDrive version, 3.19.27, and the login completed successfully on our test system. Therefore, the issue may be related to the saved login information, browser configuration, security software, or the account environment on your PC.

You mentioned that an incorrect email address is automatically displayed in NetDrive. This may indicate that old login information or an expired authentication token is still stored.

Could you please send us the following information?

  • Your Windows version
  • Your default web browser and its version
  • A screenshot of the browser page shown after the Google login is completed
  • A screenshot of the NetDrive window when all buttons become disabled
  • The incorrect email address automatically displayed by NetDrive
  • Whether you are using a VPN, firewall, antivirus program, or browser security extension
  • NetDrive log files collected immediately after reproducing the issue

Please also check whether the browser displays a message asking permission to open NetDrive after the Google authentication is completed. If such a message appears, please allow the browser to open NetDrive.

As another test, please completely close NetDrive, change your default browser temporarily, restart NetDrive, and try “Login with Google” again.

Once we receive the logs and screenshots, we will investigate where the login process is stopping.

Best regards,
NetDrive Support
