I currently use Time Machine to back up my Mac onto a local NAS drive. It seems to work fine… but of course requires that my Mac be on the same network. When I travel, it would be nice to have Time Machine perform backups and/or restore files. I was really hoping NetDrive would allow this, but Time Machine is unhappy with that configuration and returns “Disk object invalid or unable to serialize”.
Is there a way around this or should I just use another backup application?
